PHILLIPSTON - Adam W. Hamel, 42, of 15 Baldwinville Rd., Phillipston, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 in the Leo LaChance Nursing Home of Gardner, after a brief illness.
He was born in Gardner on September 17, 1965, the son of Richard A. Hamel of Phillipston and Esther (Frost) Bisico of Athol.
He grew up in Phillipston. He was a member of the Jeep Club, and was the proud owner of several Jeeps. He worked as a freelance dry wall technician throughout New England.
Besides his loving parents, he leaves one son, Jacob Hamel of Gardner; two daughters, Tiffany Hamel of FL, Samantha Hamel of NJ; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Phillipston Congregational Church, On The Common, Phillipston. Burial will follow in Lower Cemetery, Phillipston.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to American Cancer Society's, New England Division Office, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
