LEICESTER - Adrice Vautour of Leicester, 63, died Wednesday, Jan 12, 2011, at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Adrice was born in Acadieville, New Brunswick Canada on July 1, 1947, the son of Alyre and Christine ( Fournier ) Vautour. He leaves a daughter, Linda, and her fiancee Danny Carroll of Apopka, Fl., a son, Jesse and his wife Angela, of West Boylston, four grandchildren, Nicholas, Briana, Bryce, and Gina. He also leaves five brothers, Eric and his wife Aurella, Ronald and his wife Rejeanne, Ulysse, all of Leominster, Andre and his wife Noella of Ashburnham, and Fernand of Dixon Point New Brunswick, Canada, five sisters, Lucienne, ( Joseph Godin ) of Leominster, Bernice, ( Alderic Doiron ) of Acadieville, New Brunswick, Canada, Ginette, ( John LeBlanc ) of Gardner, Linda, ( Reginald LeBlanc ) of Bouctouche New Brunswick, Canada, and Rachel, ( Jim Snay ) of Winchendon. He also leaves a very special friend and companion, Janet Brown, with whom he lived and her daughter Lauren and her children Amber Lynn and Michael and his ex-wife Maie ( Allain ) Vautour of Dixon Point, New Brunswick, Canada and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Gilles and Joseph, and one sister, Cecile. The funeral will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011, at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2010 at the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to a charity of one's choice.
