GARDNER - Albina M. Zaremba, 73 of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in Gardner, on February 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Peter and the late Sally (Mackiewicz) Zaremba. She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School. Albina was employed as an executive secretary for Simplex Time Recorder for over 44 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the rosary sodality of the church. She was a member of the AARP and the Simplex Social Club. Albina was an avid reader, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking and loved her family very much. She leaves one sister, Blanche Zaremba of Gardner and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, William Zaremba, Walter Zaremba, and by one sister, Anna J. Russo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 15, 2008 at 11:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial in St. John's Cemetery will be in the spring. A calling hour will be held Friday, February 15, 2008, from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the Poliks Funeral Home 431 Pleasant St., Gardner. Members of St. Joseph's rosary sodality will gather to say the rosary at 9:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Church - Renovation Fund, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA 01440.
