TEMPLETON - Alexander “Skip” Cwartkowski, Jr., 69, of Templeton died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at home with his family by his side.
He was born January 5, 1948 in Baldwinville the son of the late Alexander J. Cwartkowski and the late Patricia MacLean.
Skip was a truck driver all his life and an avid hunter, snowmobiler and fisherman. He was vice president of the Birch Hill Rangers Snowmobile Club. He loved telling stories and making people laugh, watching the Patriots, Red Sox and he loved his westerns.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth "Betty" (Lawrence) Cwartkowksi; one daughter, Theresa Marion and her long term partner Steve Casavecchia Jr. of Templeton; two step-sons, Dennis L'Homme and his wife Shirley of Templeton, Tom L'Homme and his wife Jodi of Templeton, son in-law Mark Hanks of Gardner; one brother, Steve Cwartkowski of Gardner; two sisters, Cathy Montville and her husband Mark of Baldwinville, Cynthia Webber and her husband Terrence of Rindge, NH; his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his step-daughter, Sheryl Hanks.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. Burial will be private.
