Alice M. (Krzeminski) Szoc

GARDNER- Alice M. (Krzeminski) Szoc, 90 of 10 Lennon St., Gardner died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at home. She was born on April 22, 1923 in Gardner the daughter of Antoni and Adelarde (Pavlowski) Krzeminski. She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School.  She graduated from the Heywood Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Szoc worked as a registered nurse at Heywood Hospital for over 30 years.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the church's Holy Rosary Sodality. Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She leaves two sons Kenneth Szoc and his wife Doris of Sarasota Florida, James Szoc and his wife Lori of Baldwinville; one daughter Mary Durant of Upton; one brother, Anthony Krzeminski of Wilmington, MA; three grandchildren Hayley Durant of Upton, Ma, Erica Sanguinetti and her husband Italo of Naples Florida, Jeremy Szoc and his wife Elizabeth of Aberdeen New Jersey; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Szoc,  Brisa Sanguinetti, John Szoc and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years Rudolph R. Szoc who died  in 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Church 438 Pleasant St. Gardner. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
