Alice V. Landon

SOUTH ROYALSTON - Alice V (Mieruniski) Landon, 97, formerly of South Royalston, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the Lifecare Center of Leominster. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 5, 1913, the daughter of the late Stanislaus and the late Alexandria (Stelmach) Mieruniski. Mrs. Landon was raised and educated in Pennsylvania and had resided in South Royalston for fifty-seven years. She was a homemaker for most of her life and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church where she was the sacristan for many years. She leaves her daughter, Roberta Brodeur of Fitchburg. She was predeceased by her husband of forty-seven years, Edward Landon, in 1971. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church, 123 South Royalston Road, Royalston. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Royalston. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. $(document).ready(function(){ });
