Alice H. (Maciorowski) Desolier

GARDNER - Alice H. Desolier, age 86, of Gardner died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Wachusett Manor Nursing Home. Alice was born November 2, 1930 in Gardner. She is the daughter of the late Adam and the late Helen (Szymanski) Maciorowski. She was employed at Kamens Chair Factory where she did freehand stenciling. She worked for Gamma and in Gardner as a bus monitor . Alice was a member of the Women's Ministry at St. Joseph's Church and was a member and mentor of the Gardner Women's Business Women's Network . She is survived by; one sister: Theresa McInnis of Newport, RI and one brother: Edward Maciorowski and his wife Norma of Gardner; five nieces: Sharon Howe of Gardner, Cheryl Aguigui of Tacoma, WA, Shelley Carlisle of Portsmouth, RI, Sheila McInnis of Providence, RI and Beth Maciorowski of San Diego, CA; two nephews: John Maciorowski and Keith Maciorowski both of Gardner, and several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond J. Desolier, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 7 at Lamoureux Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner, with Rev. Joseph Jurgelonis officiating. A calling hour will be held prior to the funeral at 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 9 at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
