TEMPLETON - Andrew W. Fruit, 33, of Templeton, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner, MA. He was born in Gardner, on November 7, 1982, the son of John M. and Paula A. (Teittinen) Fruit. Andrew grew up in Templeton and graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in 2000. He helped with the family business Templeton HOMGAS. Andy had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting in Vermont, fishing and boating in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee, four-wheeling, music, his cat Cleo and spending time with his family. He was a skilled handyman and always happy to help someone in need. He leaves his parents, John and Paula Fruit of Templeton, his sister, Sarah Clark and her husband Keith of Pepperell; his brother, Matthew Fruit of Templeton; his maternal grandfather, Paul Teittinen of East Templeton and his nephew, Patrick Fruit. He will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Andy was predeceased by his parental grandparents, Edward and Elizabeth Fruit and his maternal grandmother, Alice Teittinen. The family requests that guests dress casually for the services as Andy would want it that way. Any donations may be made in Andrew’s memory to an animal shelter of your choice. . Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner. Calling hours begin at 10am followed by services at 12pm.
