ATHOL- Andrew J. Wehmeyer, 29, of Athol, died Saturday, May 24, in Athol Hospital.
Andrew was born November 21, 1984, in Greenfield, son of William and Lori (Watkevich) Wehmeyer. Andrew attended Athol High School and was currently working for Vegetation Control Service in Athol. He occasionally worked in Hawaii. Andrew had a strong love of reading. He especially enjoyed the writings of Jack Kerouac and history books. Andrew loved music and especially Phish concerts. His witty sense of humor will be missed by all.
He leaves his mother, Lori Wehmeyer of Athol; his father and stepmother, William Wehmeyer, Jr. and Jacqueline Wehmeyer of Gardner; his brother, William Wehmeyer, III and his companion, Christie Briscoe, of Templeton; his nephew, Wyatt Wehmeyer; his maternal grandmother, Eloise Watkevich; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The funeral will be held Thursday, May 29, at 11:00 A.M. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange.
Calling hours will precede the funeral, Thursday, May 29 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A.E.D. Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 67, Westminster, MA 01473, or to the Athol Animal Shelter, 450 Thrower Road, Athol, MA 01331.
