Angelina (Lore) Belanger

GARDNER - Angelina M. (Lore) Belanger, 96, of 61 West Broadway died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Wachusett Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 16, 1917 in Gardner the daughter of Carlo and Lucy (Vinzzi) Lore. She was the wife of the late Philip H. Belanger who died in 1965. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and gardening.  She attended local schools and worked for Goodnow Pearson Department Store for many years. She is survived by four children, David Belanger of Gardner, Patricia Walsh of Gardner, Lucy Hebert of Gardner and Barbara Atkins and her husband Christopher of Clinton, MA; three grandchildren, Philip LeClair and his wife Donna of Colchester, VT, Karen Christman and her husband Lou of Santa Barbara, CA, James Walsh and his wife Tricia of Gardner; six great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Camden LeClair, Autumn, Violet, and Domonic Christman and Violet Walsh; four sisters, Frances Horrigan, Louise Gallant, Mary Oliva, Sophie Melanson and one brother Mike Lore; many nieces, nephews and friends including her dear friend Mary Roth.   She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.   Funeral services and burial will be private.   In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Wachusett Manor 32 Hospital Hill Road, Gardner, MA 01440 or to Life Choice 15 Midstate Drive, Suite 215, Auburn, MA 01501.
