Leominster- Angelina “Sunny” (Bilotta) Marrama, 92, of Leominster passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday November 5, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Victoria (Faticanti) Bilotta.
Sunny was born in Leominster on February 5, 1921 and lived in Leominster her whole life. She graduated from Leominster High School in 1939. Sunny owned and operated Leominster Auto School for many years with her husband. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anna’s Society, former President of the Leominster Police Wives Association. She was a member of St. Anna’s Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, St. Anna’s Choir and St. Anna’s prayer group. She enjoyed playing guitar, signing, traveling, gardening, and will forever be missed for her great Italian cooking.
Sunny leaves behind one son; Andrew Marrama and his wife Pamela of CA, three daughters; Victoria Marrama and her husband Martin Piermarini of Leominster, Angela Marrama of Leominster, and Christina Baldini and her husband David of Winchendon, one sister; Lena Campobasso of Leominster. She was a devoted grandmother to her seven grandchildren; Brian Marrama, Katelyn McMilleon, Kelley Lavoie, Chad Brosseau, Andrew Brosseau, Gabriel Baldini, and Peter Baldini. She was also a proud great-grandmother of her five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-four years; Wilfred A. Marrama, one brother; Vincent Bilotta, two sisters: Theresa Crisci, and Lillian Bilotta.
Calling hours will be held from the Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St. Leominster on Friday November 8, 2013from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 11:00am in St. Anna’s Church 199 Lancaster St. Leominster, burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in Angelina’s name be sent to the; St. Anna’s Church Restoration Fund 199 Lancaster St. Leominster, MA 01453 or may be left at the funeral home.
