Anita M (McPhee) Britt

Leominster- Anita M. (McPhee) Britt, 83, of Leominster, passed away on Sunday November 3rd, 2013 in the Life Care Center of Leominster after a short illness.  She was born on May 4, 1930, the daughter of Abraham and Melinda(Leblanc) McPhee and the wife of 35 years to John F. Britt of Leominster. Anita was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church, and enjoyed knitting, doing crafts, sitting outside in the sun and smelling the flowers in bloom, country music, shopping with her dear friend Franchesca, Besides her husband, Anita leaves behind three daughters; Nancy Chouinard Of Texas, Donna Johnson and her husband Donald of Worcester, and Rosemarie Chouinard and her fiancé Ray Stephens of Leominster, one sister; Viola Phelps of Leominster, seven grandchildren; Michael, Heather, and Michelle, Mathew, Carissa, Shamiko, and Jordan, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers and six sisters. Calling hours will be held from the Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St. Leominster on Wednesday November 6, 2016 from 9:00am-11:00am. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow services in ST. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Leominster.
