GARDNER- Ann "Nancy" F. (Carroll) (Morrill) Crossman, of 50 Pine Street, Gardner, died Sunday, October 2, after an illness.
She was born in Somerville on September 27, 1932, daughter of the late George and Ann Carroll. Ann graduated from Somerville High School Class of 1950. She worked for New England Telephone in the early 1950's and for M.O.C. of Leominster in the late 60's and early 70's. She was a member of the American Legion Post 129 Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed arts and crafts and especially enjoyed designing floral arrangements for weddings and special occasions for family and friends. She also enjoyed spending winter months in Florida with her husband, Ozzie and family.
She leaves one sister, Jean Rossi of Somerville; her two sons, James Morrill and his wife, Bernice of Phillipston, and Gene "Skip" Morrill and his wife, Kathleen of East Templeton; step daughter, Dorothy Kashtan and her husband, Michael of Seminole, FL; five grandchildren, Matthew, Gregory, and Patrick White, and Ryan and Ross Kashtan; four great grandchildren, Riley, Olivia, Emily, and Owen White; her dear friend, Josette Bellabarba of Phillipston.
She was predeceased by her husband, Austin "Ozzie" Crossman, and her brother, James Carroll of Needham.
Calling hours are Friday, October 7, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. in Lamoureux-Fletcher & Smith Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. The funeral will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemtery in Winchendon.
