March 20, 1936 — December 14, 2024

Gardner

Ann Josephine (Rainen) Percifull passed peacefully on December 14, 2024. She was born March 20, 1936 in Braintree, MA but grew up in Lunenburg and lived for many years in the Gardner area. After high school she moved to New York to study art at Parson School of Design, where she met the love of her life and married Fred Percifull.

Art and adventure were always Ann’s passions whether it was creating works of art or traveling the country in an RV. Many summers, she and Fred traveled with their grandchildren to Georgetown, Maine in the RV. She loved an adventure, creating artwork and most of all being with her family. She was a loving wife and mother who was so proud of her children and grandkids. Ann will be remembered as a positive, kind, compassionate woman with a creative flare for life.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Reino and Hazel Rainen, husband Fred Percifull, brother William Rainen and sister-in-law Ruth Lewin. Ann is survived by her children Gwenn Gilchrest and husband Gary, Scott Percifull and wife Anush Sargsyan-Percifull, four grandchildren Serena and husband Matt Bettez, William Gilchrest and wife Anneliese, Russell Gilchrest and Sarah Percifull along with eight wonderful great grandchildren.

The family is grateful for the loving care she received from the staff at Heywood Wakefield Commons and Wachusett Rehab & Nursing Center. Arrangements for the burial will be handled by Mack Funeral Home at Wildwood Cemetery in Gardner - date to be determined.
