Anna A. Salahna

Anna A. (Mazialnik) Salahna, 90, formerly of 309 Harvard Ave., Athol, died early Thursday morning in Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol after a long illness. She was born in Athol November 10, 1912, daughter of the late Michael and Amelia (Tamalunas) Mazialnik and lived here all of her life. Mrs. Salahna was a member of St Francis of Assisi Church in Athol and was actively involved in it's Women's Guild. Her husband, Stanley T. Salahna died in 1989. She is survived by her son, Stanley T Salahna, Jr. of Athol, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Mary Ann Burnham of Athol died in 2002. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from J. EDWARD MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 137 Main St., Athol, Saturday, September 6, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church in Athol at 11AM. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 -10:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home.
