WINCHENDON- Anne Marie (Aucoin) Lucier, 57, of Winchendon, died Friday, April 6, at Heywood Hospital, after a battle with cancer.
Anne was born November 29, 1960, in Gardner, daughter of the late William and Blanche (Cyganiewicz) Aucoin. She graduated from Gardner High School and Mount Wachusett Community College. Anne worked in retail for several years. As a young woman, she was involved with The Simplex Drum and Bugle Corps. She was proud when her children followed in her footsteps playing with the Gardner High School Marching Band. Anne was an avid New England Patriots fan and she had a passion for animals especially horses.
She leaves her children, Jarrad Lucier and Samantha Lucier, both of Winchendon; two sisters, Marcia Aucoin of Rindge,NH,
and Barbara Aucoin and her husband, Alan Collette, of Westminster; a nephew, Joshua Collette and his wife, Kirby and their two daughters, Hadley and Sutton of Fitchburg; and a niece, Emily Collette of Los Angeles, CA.
Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Jim Anderson.
The visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with the funeral starting at 12:00 P.M. at Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Funeral Home, a Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.
