GARDNER - Annie (Martin) Collet, 89, died Monday, February 28, 2022 at Heywood Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Patrice Collet.
Annie leaves one son, J. Norman Collet of Prince Edward Island, Canada, five daughters, Dorene Collette of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Katherine Gentile of Rutland, Lydia Boudreau of Westminster, VT, Linda Collet of Gardner and Freda Collet of Worcester; a sister, Edith Hachey of Gardner; seven grandchildren, Christopher Bergeron of Lunenburg, Aimee Lougie of Worcester, Ronald Corliss of Westminster, VT, Rachael Gray of Athol, Russell Corliss of Keene, NH, Meghan Bowen of Toronto, Canada, and Dana Collet of Leominster; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Quaile, McKenna Gray both of Athol, Isaac Corliss, Mia Corliss and Emma Corliss all of Keene, NH.
She is predeceased by a son, J. Ronald Collet; a brother, James Martin; two sisters, Louise Aucoin and Gladys Richard.
Annie was born in Minto, New Brunswick, Canada on April 30, 1932, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Gauthier) Martin.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, knitting, playing board games and caring for younger children.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Annie's funeral will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the funeral home from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
