Anthony D. Nawotny

GARDNER- Anthony D. Nawotny, 79, of Gardner, died Tuesday, September 19, in Leominster Hospital after an illness. Anthony was born December 14, 1937, in Gardner, son of the late Anthony and Dorothy (Baker) Nawotny. He worked at Nichols and Stone for many years before his retirement. Anthony enjoyed bingo, jigsaw, puzzles, and trips with the Gardner Senior Center. He leaves his brother, Michael Nawotny of Athol. He was predeceased by his brother, William, in August 2001. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 27, at 11:00 A.M. in St. John’s Cemetery, West St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gardner Senior Center, 294 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA 01440, or to the charity of one’s choice.
