Antoinette A. Dumanoski

GARDNER - Antoinette A. (Armanowicz) Dumanoski, 86, of 287 Waterford Street, Gardner, died peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2009 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner, with her family by her side. She was born in Gardner on June 1, 1923, the daughter of the late Vincent and the late Agnes (Jezuline) Armanowicz. Mrs. Dumanoski was a lifelong resident of Gardner, graduating from Gardner High School with the class of 1941. She worked as a waitress for the Old Mill Restaurant in Westminster for twenty-three years until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality and St. Joseph's Church. She was also a member of the Gardner Golden Age Club, AARP, and the Polish Social League. She leaves her husband of sixty years, Walter Dumanoski of Gardner; two daughters, Maria Prosser and her husband Robert of Kilauea, Hawaii, Holly Dumanoski of Tampa, Florida; one son, Anthony Dumanoski and his wife Sioney of Bonita, Florida; one sister, Nellie Grucan of Gardner; two grandchildren, Todd Burns of Kilauea, Hawaii, Casey Empey and her husband Michael of Alexandria, Virginia; and one great grandson, Jackson Empey of Alexandria, Virginia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant Street, Gardner. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner. Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant Street, Gardner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA 01440, or HOPE, 20 Barthel Avenue, Gardner, MA 01440, or to a charity of one's choice. $(document).ready(function(){ });
