ATHOL - Antonio Velez, 35 of 236 Walnut Street, Athol, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at home. He was born in Holyoke, MA, on March 20, 1985, the son of Julio F. Velez , Sr. and Marta I. (Correa) Velez. Antonio grew up in Holyoke and Springfield area and moved to Athol when he entered Middle School. He worked at Pete's Tire Barn in Orange. He enjoyed playing Fortnite, fishing and going to the beach. He leaves his girlfriend, Brianna Baker; his daughter, Zarah Ivette Velez of Athol; his parents, Julio F. Velez and Marta Velez of Athol; two sisters, Jessica Ramiez of Springfield, Alejita Velez of Athol; one brother, Julio Velez, Jr. of Athol; neices and nephews, Marizah Rios, Jose Rios, Jr., Alyvia Santiago, Sofia Cherrier, Elias Cherrier, Dezmariah Figueroa, Malvin Ramirez, Armani Ramirez, Zach Velez, Lexi Velez; and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Only immediate family will be attending the service at the funeral home, all others are invited to view by webcast from the funeral homes website by selecting the media tab under his service notice.
