Armand Beauchemin, 82, formerly of Morton Meadows in Athol, died Tuesday in Leominster Hospital, Leominster after a long illness.
He was born in Athol August 11, 1921, son of the late Joseph and Emma (Cormier) Beauchemin and lived here many years. His wife, Helen (McNabb) Beauchemin predeceased him.
Mr. Beauchemin worked at both Cass Toys and Athol Table Co. prior to his retirement. He enjoyed walking and watching television.
He was predeceased by one brother, Arthur Beauchemin of Miami and three sisters, Eva Day and Jeanette Chandler, both of Athol and Clara West of Chicago. He is survived by a niece, Janet Bartlett of Orange and several other nieces and nephews.
It being his request, the funeral service is private and at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. Burial in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol will take place at a later date.
