Armando Tontodonato

Armando Tontodonato Armando Tontodonato of Athol, Massachusetts, formerly of Boston and Sulmona, Italy, died on February 8, 2018 at the age of 90. The son of Nicola and Adele Tontodonato, he immigrated to the United States and worked at MIT Libraries for over 30 years before retiring in 1990. Husband of the late Anna (DiMascio) and father of Lino and his wife Connie of New Jersey and Gino and his wife Michele (Donovan) of Athol. Devoted Nonno to Antonia, Gina, Conall and Nicholas. Brother to Pietro and Alba, and uncle to Mileda, Stefano and Paolo, all of Sulmona. Special thanks to Dr. Noreldin, Dr. Funa, and the Doctors, Nurses and Staff from Athol Memorial and Heywood Hospitals. Words cannot express our appreciation for the care and compassion that was shown to Armando over the years. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, February 20, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 A.M. at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial is private at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
