ORANGE - Arthur Roy Desreuisseau, 76 of 383 East River Street, Orange, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. He was born in Orange, on May 12, 1940, the son of the late Amey J. and the late Madeline Florence (Stevens) Desreuisseau. Arthur grew up in Orange and was educated in Orange. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked in the maintenance department of the Athol Hospital for many years, he previously worked at Heywood Wakefield in Gardner. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Julia M. (Stevens) Desreuisseau, three sons, Andre Desreuisseau and his wife Tammy of Orange, Aaron Desreuisseau of Athol, Roger Desreuisseau of Gardner; two daughters, Heather Desreuisseau of Brattleboro, VT, Melanie Sumnor of Athol; two brothers, Roland Desreuisseau of Orange, Dana Desreuisseau of Orange; 13 grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Randy Desreuisseau; his daughter, Sherry Bryant; by four brothers, Gordon Desreuisseau, Donald Desreuisseau, Leo Desreuisseau, Larry Desreuisseau and by two sisters, Kathleen Whitemore and Gloria Oliver. A calling hour will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 am in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
