LEOMINSTER - Arthur L. "Bud" (Petit) Little, Sr., 88 of Leominster, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 in the Leominster Hospital, Leominster. He was born in Bridgewater, MA, on March 23, 1919, the son of the late Arthur and the late Helen (Belliveau) Petit. He lived in Rochester, NY after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He moved to the Leominster area in 1971. Bud was a cook at several local restaurants and diners he was also employed at Union Products for several years. He a member of the Leominster Eagles and he enjoyed playing Bingo. He leaves two daughters, Starr D. Babineau and her husband Keith of Leominster, Beverly Lamerine of Leominster; one son. Arthur "Buddy" Little, Jr. and his companion Lorna Gaetz of Leominster; one sister, Joy Boucher of CA and one brother, Albert Little of Fitchburg; four grandchildren, Brandy Little, Brandon Little, Alisha Bargo-Wood, Kayla Babineau and one great grandson Braden Little and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife Helen (Rowe) Little who died in 1989; by a daughter, Shelia Forgues and by three brothers and one sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 11:00 am in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home 14 Walker St., Leominster, MA.
