Gardner-Arthur F. Manley, Sr. 72, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Heywood Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife Patrice (Turner) Manley; four children, Michael Gallager and his wife Julianna of Framingham, John Gallagher of Gardner, Kelley Duggan and her husband Matthew of Longmeadow, and AJ Manley of Gardner; four grandchildren, Ashlyn Kelly, Devin Gallagher, Jack Duggan and Emilyn Duggan; three nieces, Karen Sousa and Kristin Fiato of St. Petersburg, FL and Colleen Considine of Hudson; a great niece, Kaitlyn Sousa and four great nephews, Michael Considine, Dillon Considine, Joseph Considine and Joe Sousa; a cousin, William McPhee of Winchendon and his best friend Jake..
He is predeceased by three brothers, Richard Manley, James Manely, Jr and H. John Manley.
Arthur was born in Arlington, on September 27, 1949 a son of the late James J. and Helen (McPhee) Manley. He graduated from Waltham High School and worked as an electrician.
He was a member of the IBEW 1505, the IBEW local 103 and enjoyed carpentry, gardening, cooking, woodworking, fishing and car auctions. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Calling hours for Arthur will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a service at 7:45 p.m. in the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
