Arthur T. Powell

WARE - Arthur T. Powell, Jr, age 76, of Ware died Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital of Worcester, MA.   Mr. Powell was born April 25, 1938 in Athol,  the son of the late Arthur T. Powell, Sr. and the late Nina Britt.   Arthur grew up in Athol and was educated in Athol.  He was a member of the Army Reserves and the Army National Guard. Arthur worked at Eddington Thread Company in Worcester for many years.  He enjoyed doing puzzles. He is survived by five daughters, Christine Deneault of Worcester, Lisa J Frazier of Worcester,  Bonnie Whitner of Whitensville, Rosemarie Parmentier of Belchertown, Penny Powell of Worcester; three sons, Arthur T Powell III of Ware, Michael Powell of Worcester, Eric Powell of Worcester; two brothers, Sonny Britt of Athol, Bruce Powell and his wife Judy of Athol; seventeen grandchildren and  twenty-three great grandchildren. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange.  Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery.
