Bernadette M. Gronowicz

ST. PETERSBURG - Bernadette M. (Baczewski) Gronowicz, 85, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Monday, July 26, 2010 in the Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center, St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born in Gardner on April 5, 1925, the daughter of the late Stanislaw and the late Anna (Baldyga) Baczewski. Mrs. Gronowicz worked in the offices of the Simplex Time Recorder Company for many years until her retirement in 1982. She leaves her husband of sixty-four years, Bernard A. Gronowicz; one son, Bernard H. Gronowicz and his wife Susan of Largo, Florida; one brother, Henry Baczewski of Baldwinville; two sisters, Pat Fougere of Otter River, Valeria Maattala of Gardner; two grandsons, Bernard J. Gronowicz of Winchendon, Matthew S. Gronowicz of South Royalston; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Mickey Baczewski, and by a sister, Stella Yackowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Martin Church, 247 State Road, Otter River. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner. A calling hour will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner. $(document).ready(function(){ });
