Bernard P. Kelly

SCARBOROUGH, MAINE – Bernard P. Kelly of Scarborough, ME son of Bernard Kelly and Julie Petrones Kelly passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Scarborough, Maine. He was born on April 27, 1941 in Athol, MA.  He was a graduate of Norwich University and a Captain in the Army.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating and photographing wildlife. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra (Guidi) Kelly, his daughter, Nancy Nutter and her husband Michael; his son Brian Kelly and his wife Melanie and his granddaughter Sophia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 101 Main St., Athol.  His nephew Father Matthew Guidi will officiate.  Burial with military honors will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol.   Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA 01364. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations in his memory be made to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunneswell Road, Scarborough, ME 04074 or to a charity of one’s choice.
