Berneice M Cameron

PHILLIPSTON- Berneice M. (Dunshee) Cameron, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Athol Memorial Hospital. Berneice was born in Danby, VT on March 31, 1936, daughter of the late Rollin and Bertha (Keys) Dunshee. She graduated from Narragansett Regional High School in 1972 and with an associates degree from Mount Wachusett Community College in 1980. She was a special education teacher at JR Briggs Elementary School in Ashburnham. She enjoyed camping all up and down the east coast, traveling to Georgia or Florida in the motor home, Mohawk Trail State Park, and Salisbury Beach. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and American Legion in Baldwinville. She is survived by her husband Phillip D. Cameron, Sr; five sons, Phillip Cameron Jr of Phillipston, Hugh Cameron of Templeton, Bernard Cameron of Leominster, Shawn Cameron of Sumpter, SC, and Brian Cameron of Orange; five daughters, Patricia Woodman of Oxford, Barbara Stanfield of Winter Haven, FL, Pamela Haley of Perham, ME, Chris Ann Tucchi of Athol, and MaryEllen Petrie of Templeton; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and one brother, Dwight Dunshee of Troy, NH. No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Starrett Memorial Church, 40 Island Street, Athol, MA 01331.
