Bernice (Babineau) Breau

  LEOMINSTER - Bernice (Babineau) Breau, 74, of Leominster, died Monday, July 2, in her home after an illness.  She was born October 9, 1937, in Saint Norbert, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Johnny and Eleanor (Richard) Babineau. She moved from Canada to Waltham and then to Leominster in1990. Mrs. Breau was a nanny for many years. Her family was always priority. She enjoyed camping, line dancing, and music. She was a member of Saint Leo’s Church. Her husband of 20 years, Alfred Breau, died in 1977. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Elmina, Alice, Marguerite, Leona, Ida Marie, Georgina, Theodore, Octave, and Rudolph. She leaves two sons, Ronald Breau of Leominster, and Paul Breau and his wife, Jo-Ann of SC; two daughters, Gloria Benoit and her husband Mike, and Diane McGown and her husband George, all of Leominster; seven grandchildren, Rachelle, Alfred, Kevin, Kenny, Travis, Jacob, and Jessica; two great grandchildren, Kaylah and Annabella; three sisters, Emilienne Maillet of Montreal, Anita LeBlanc and Florence LeBlanc all of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; several nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 14, at 11:30 A.M. in Saint Leo’s Church, 128 main St., Leominster. Burial will be private in Canada. Calling hours will precede the Mass Saturday, July 14, from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. in M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.   $(document).ready(function(){ });
