Beverly M. (Goodale) Goodale

Beverly M. Goodale Athol – Beverly Martha Goodale, 78, formerly of 416 Main Street died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare.      Beverly was born in Athol, Massachusetts, October 23, 1934, the daughter of Lester D. and Agnes M. (Locke) Goodale.   She grew up in Athol and has lived here most of her life.      Beverly  worked for Head Start, the Cass Toy Factory, the Athol Daily News and taught Sunday School at Starrett Memorial United Methodist Church.   She loved socializing with her friends, reading the newspaper, word search puzzles, bingo, avid knitter, loyal Red Sox and Bruins fan and keeping up with her grandchildren.      Beverly leaves four children, Todd M. Goodale and Adam J. Goodale and his wife Jennifer; two daughters, Barbara J. Goodale and Tracy L. Smart.  She also leaves six grandchildren, Luke Smart, Nicole Smart, Todd Goodale, Jennifer Goodale, Olivia Goodale, Sam Goodale; eight great grandchildren and a sister, Ruth M. Rowe of Athol.  She was predeceased by a sister, Viola A. Goodale.      Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol with the Rev.
