Beverly Frances Keene

BALDWINVILLE, MA -Beverly Frances (Moody) Keene age 92, of Bradenton, FL, Formerly of Baldwinville, died Saturday, October 24th at home surrounded by loving family. She was born September 11, 1923, in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Willard and Hazel (Shedd) Moody. Beverly also lived in Springfield, Gardner, and Athol. She graduated from Gardner High School in1941 and moved to Baldwinville after graduating and lived there for many years. She has lived in Bradenton for the past four years. Her husband of 50 years, Sydney E. Keene, died in 1992. She was also predeceased by a brother, Donald Moody, and three sisters, Thelma Chamberlain, Shirley Fredette, and Barbara Rice. She leaves three daughters, Carole Pacocha and her husband, James of Hudson, NH, Nancy Martin and her husband, Alfred of Gardner, and Deborah Roberts and her husband, Jack of Bradenton, FL; one brother, James Moody of FL; eight grandchildren; James Pacocha and his wife, Yumi of Suwannee, GA., Leanne McInerny and her husband John of Litchfield, NH, Lisa Hooper and her husband Terry of Pelham, NH, Dr. Richard Martin and his wife Lisa of Pella, Iowa, Cindy Rahaim of Leominster, MA, Christopher Roberts and his wife Dr. Danielle of Pickerington, Ohio, Jessica Carey and her husband Justin of Avon Lake, Ohio, Devin Roberts and his wife Julianne of Hudson, Ohio ; Sixteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Beverly worked as Cafeteria Manager at Narragansett Regional High School for 23 years. She was a member of Templeton Women's Club, Templeton Golden Agers, Menuettes, Otter River Ladies Bowling Team, a lifetime member of Jessamine Chapter 75 order of Eastern Star, AARP of Gardner, and a member of the former East Templeton Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, playing Beano, cards, and Rummikub. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The memorial service will be held Saturday, November 21, at 11:00 AM at Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner. Burial will follow in Pinegrove Cemetery in Templeton. A calling hour will precede the service Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Templeton Council on aging, 135 Patriot Rd., Templeton, MA 01438.
