Blanche M. (Davidaitis) Qualters

ATHOL - Blanche Marion Qualters, 87 of 459 Lenox St., Athol, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in The Highlands, Fitchburg. She was born in Athol, on May 12, 1925, the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Benedicta (Morris) Davidaitis. She grew up in Athol and graduated with the class of 1944.  She was a telephone operator with New England Telephone for 30 years.  Communicant of St. Peter's Church, active in the church fair, member of the Athol Democratic Committee. She leaves two sons: Rick A. Qualters and his wife Linda of Oakham, MA, Daniel S. Qualters of Omaha, NB; one grandson:  Eric J. Qualters of Oakham. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years:  Richard L. Qualters who passed away in 2010. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA.  Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Blanche’s memory to St. Peter’s Church, c/o 192 School St., Athol, MA  01331.
