GARDNER - Blanche K. Zaremba, 90 of Gardner died Sunday, March 22, 2015 in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She was born in Gardner on February 20, 1925 the daughter of Peter Zaremba and Sally (Mackiewicz) Zaremba. She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School.
Blanche work at the Union Twist Drill Company in Athol for many years she also work for Simplex Time Recorder and Atter's Supermarket.
She was a active member of St. Joseph's Church and a member and past president of the Gardner Women's Club she was also a member of the Polish American Veterans Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by two sisters Anna J. Russo and Albina Zaremba and two brothers William Zaremba and Walter Zaremba.
She leaves several nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial in St. John's Cemetery will be at a later date.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 930 – 10:30 AM in the Poliks
Funeral Home 431 Pleasant St., Gardner.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Church 358 Pleasant St. Gardner, MA 01440.
