Bonny M. Legere, a compassionate soul and beacon of love, left us on January 11, 2025. Born in Gardner, MA, Bonny carried the vivacity and warmth of her hometown throughout her life, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Bonny's generous spirit and infectious laughter truly made the world a brighter place.
Bonny was an extraordinary woman who worked as a machine operator in a wire and cable company before her well-deserved retirement. Her diligence and loyalty were evident in her work, but Bonny's true passion lay in the love she had for her family and friends. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Bonny embodied this sentiment fully, always putting her loved ones first and ensuring their happiness and comfort.
Beyond her captivating personality, Bonny was also gifted with a green thumb. Her love for nature was evident in the meticulously maintained flower gardens she cherished and the beautiful plants she cultivated for anyone who desired them. Summer nights in Templeton were made more magical with the solar lights Bonny loved to put up. Her home was a testament to her vibrant spirit and love for life.
Bonny is survived by her loving husband, David Legere; her daughters, Alicia (Jared) VanHillo and Tanya (Kristen) Colon; her siblings, Linda Gravel, Debbie Bennett, Charlie Ballou, and Pamela (Dennis) Mitchell. Her eight nephews, one niece, two grandchildren, and numerous grand pups will remember her as the ever-loving and adoring figure who brightened their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Arlene Ballou, and her brother, Philip Ballou.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 4-6 pm at the Mack Family Funeral Home - Gardner Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner. A service will be held in the funeral home at 6 pm. Burial will be private.
