Brian C. Frey

ATHOL - Brian C. Frey, 57 of Athol, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born in St. Peter, Minnesota, on June 29, 1954, the son of the late Raymond and the late Marion (Hielman) Frey. His family moved to Blue Earth, MN in 1961. He was raised and educated in Blue Earth and graduated in 1973. He participated in football and went to the state championship his senior year in high school for wrestling.  Brian was an avid bowler, golfer, gardener, enjoyed Christmas decorating and most of all spending time with his two granddaughters Estella and Abigail. In 1985, Brian's occupation in plastics allowed his family to live in many different states, Connecticut, Georgia, South Carolina and in Massachusetts since 1989. Brian was employed at Catamount Manufacturing in Orange from 1989 to 2002, and was recently employed at Leaktite Manufacturing in Leominster until his illness in April 2011. He leaves his wife of 35 years, Diane J.(Ihle) Frey; two daughters: Angela Fitzgerald and her husband Corey and their daughter Estella of Athol, MA, Amber Frey of Leominster; two sons: Jesse Frey and his daughter Abigail of Athol, Jonthan Frey of Athol; three sisters, Wendy Miller and her husband Larry of Deltona, FL, Cheryl Faundeen and her husband John of Sioux Falls, SD, Susan Conelly and her husband Brian of Minneapolis, MN; two brothers, Brad Frey and his wife Kim of Hastings, MN, Denny Frey of Deltona, FL; mother in-law, Marjorie Bengtson of Blue Earth, MN; brother in-law, Lyle Ihle of Elmore, MN; sister in-law, Kathy Ihle of Shakopee, MN; aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father in-law, Harold Ihle, step father in-law, George Bengtson, brother in-law, Marlin Ihle, brother in-law, Dennis Ihle. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Bethany Lutheran Church, 62 Cheney Street, Orange. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange.
