Phillipston- Brian P. Twohey, 67, of Phillipston, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
Born on October 8, 1950 to the late Paul F. Twohey & June L. (Lundquist) Twohey in Worcester, MA. Brian grew up in Phillipston and graduated from Narragansett High School in 1968 and briefly attended the University of Hartford.
He was the owner and operator of the very well known Lee’s Hot Dog Stand in Baldwinville for 20 years, retiring in May of this year.
Brian was a member of the Otter River Sportsmans Club and the Phillipston Congregational Church. He enjoyed his summers at Queen Lake in Phillipston, was an avid reader, loved to watch the History Channel, and was a fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. He was also known for his good sense of humor.
Brian leaves his daughter, Jessica Billmeier of Concord, CA; sister, Donna J. McKellick of Springfield, MA; brothers, Craig S. Twohey & his wife Jean of Phillipston and Sean P. Twohey of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Zoe & Zac Billmeier; nephews & nieces, David McKellick, Kevin McKellick, Daniel McKellick, Ryan Twohey, Seamus Twohey, Rohan Twohey, Shannon Jarry, and Heather Hutchison. As well as many great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Mark A. Twohey, Kevin J. Twohey and his best friend, Lakerboy.
Calling Hours will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10am-12pm at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd. Orange.
A Mass will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 12:30pm at the Phillipston Congregational Church, 64 The Common, Phillipston.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Phillipston Congregational Church.
