BERRYVILLE VA......Brother Michael Desilets O.C.S.O, 84 of Berryville Virginia died Saturday May 29, 2010 at his residence. Brother Michael was born December 12, 1925 in Trois-Rivieres Quebec Canada the son of Eric and Blanche (Hebert) Desilets and graduated from St Bernard's High School in 1943.He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and a brother of the Holy Cross Abbey in Berryville where he was the business manager. He leaves his five sisters, Aime Desilets, Fernande Desilets and Jeannette Isabelle all of Leominster MA, Sister Gilberte Desilets of Putnam CT and Jacqueline Mills of Worcester and many nephews and nieces. Four Brothers Roger Desilets, Fernand Desilets, Robert Desilets and Henry Desilets and Three sisters Blanche Desilets, Jeanne Roberge and Alice Vigneault predeceased him. Funeral services and burial were held in Berryville VA at Holy Cross Abbey on June 1, 2010. Memorial contributions can be made to Holy Cross Abbey 901 Cool Springs Lane Berryville VA 22611.
