Bruce L. Alford

Bruce L. Alford, 70, of Orange, MA passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2023.

Bruce was raised in Atlas, MI and lived in Leominster, MA for 40 years working for Digital Equipment Corporation, Sun Microsystems, and Oracle before retiring to Orange.

 He was an avid golfer and a member of both Westminster and Ellinwood Country Clubs. He enjoyed watching sports, red wine, and talking about politics, but his greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by parents Spencer and Joyce (Hacker) Alford and sister Carol (Alford) Cross.

He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Lisa (Robichaud) Alford originally of Athol, MA, son Justin Alford and wife Kelsey of Leesburg, VA, daughter Amanda Alford of Fitchburg, MA, and grandchildren Coen and Cecelia. He also leaves brothers Barry (Lucia) and Mike (Roxanne), sisters Wendy Rao (Peru), Mary Hoover (Larry) and Kelly Alford, brother-in- law Michael Cross, and 11 nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 12 from 2pm to 5pm at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA 01364.

ln lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
