Bruce F. Phillips

ATHOL - Bruce F. Phillips, Sr., 64 of 60 Silver Lake St., Athol, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Piermont, NH. He was born in Athol, on August 2, 1949, the son of the late Frank and the late Gertrude (Brooks) Phillips. Bruce grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School.  He worked various jobs from working with the union to his job at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.  He loved the outdoors, hiking and camping.  His favorite place to be was in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with his family. He leaves two daughters: Brenda Fifield and her husband Michael of North Pole, AK, Barbara Phillips and her fiancé Matthew Otterman of W. Topsham, VT; one brother: David Phillips Sr. of Athol. He was predeceased by his son Bruce F. Phillips Jr. Calling hours will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014  from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
