Camilla R. Leger

LEOMINSTER - Camilla R. (Boudreau) Leger, age 71, of Leominster, died Friday, December 11, 2015 at Leominster Hospital. Camilla was born August 1, 1944 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of the late Leo and the late Leonie (Arsenault) Boudreau. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Donald J. Leger, on January 21, 2012. She is also predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Cheryl (Selinga) Leger. She was a member St. Cecilia's Parish and of the Ladies of St. Anne. Camilla will be remembered by her warm and welcoming spirit. She loved animals, especially her cat Roxy, was a devout Catholic, and enjoyed watching sports and Catholic TV. She loved her grandchildren, and traveling to Canada. She is survived by one daughter, Donna McCaffrey of Leominster; one son, Mark Leger of Leominster; one sister, Marge LeBlanc and her husband, Guy of Moncton; two brothers, Reg Boudreau of Prince Edward Island and Denis Boudreau and his wife, Suzele of Moncton; she also leaves her three grandchildren, Kristen McCaffrey, Kyle Leger and Caden Leger; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Payam Aghassi and the staff of MLA for the wonderful care they provided over the past ten years as well as the Med/Surg Nursing Department at Health Alliance Hospital for the exceptional care they provided. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster, with Fr. Robert Bruso officiating. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 4-7pm at Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA.
