LEOMINSTER------Carmen (Hebert) Vachon 84 of Leominster, died November 21, 2011 in Sterling Village after an illness.
She was born May 9, 1927 in Quebec Canada the daughter of the late Edgar Hebert and Lucy (Roy) Hebert and came to the United States settling in Leominster many years ago.
She leaves her three sons, Jacques Vachon of Fitchburg, David Vachon of Gardner and Donald Vachon of Westminster, her daughter Diane Gianrio of Leominster, her brother Harvey Hebert of California and Florence Sarioto of Canada. Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nephews nieces and cousins.
Her husband Gerard Vachon predeceased her in 2003 and her son Stephen Vachon predeceased her in 2005.
Carmen was a communicant of St Cecilia's Church in Leominster and enjoyed travelling. She was employed at the former R and M Shirt Co.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday December 2,2011at 11am in St Cecilia's Church 180 Mechanic St Leominster. Burial will follow in St Cecilia's Cemetery.
