Carol Anne Bradeen

ATHOL - Carol Anne Bradeen, 49, of 434 Crescent Street, Athol, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at her son's home in Athol. Carol was born in Newport, VT, on February 2, 1962, the daughter of Harold and the late Eloise (Thurber) Bradeen. She grew up in Brattleboro and Vernon, Vermont, and graduated from Brattleboro High School with the class of 1980. Carol moved to Athol in 1986 where she raised her two children. She was employed at MBW where she worked for fourteen years and had many friends. She leaves one daughter, Jessica McGivern of Athol; one son, Steven McGivern of Athol; her father, Harold Bradeen and his wife Idalie of DeLand, FL; one sister, Mary Farrar of VT; three step brothers, Mark Harris of Boulder, CO, Raymond Harris of Tucsan, AZ, Daniel Harris of Lafayette, CO; three grandchildren, Deavin and Lyllie McGivern and Dakota Choquette all of Athol; many aunts and cousins in Vermont and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main Street, Athol. A reception will follow at the Wheelerville Community Club in Orange. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Carol Bradeen Memorial Fund, Athol Savings Bank, P. O.
