Carol Ann Goguen

ATHOL - Carol Ann (Williams) Goguen,76, of Athol died Thursday, December 8, 2022, at UMass Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester.

She was born in Gardner on December 27, 1945, a daughter of the late Herve Williams and Barbara (Sargent) Williams.  Carol grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School.  She worked as an office manager for City Metal for several years.

She was a member of the Elks Club and enjoyed vacationing and spending time with her family.

She leaves a son, Michael Salame and his wife Laurie of Woodstock Valley, CT; a daughter, Sonya Salame-Grimm and her husband Andy Grimm of Imperial Beach, CA; a brother, Dick Williams and his wife Joann of Gardner; a sister, Donna Fletcher and her husband Cappy of Gardner; two grandchildren, Aaron Aker and spouse Sarah Aker of Braintree, MA, Ty Salame of Woodstock Valley, CT; two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Levi Aker of Braintree, MA; nieces and nephews, John Fletcher of Templeton, Melissa Williams of Shrewsbury, MA, Greg Williams of Hawaii, Adrienne Watson of Winchendon, Rhiannon Fletcher of Jacksonville, NC.

She was predeceased by her husband of 10 years, Bruce Goguen.
