Carol A (Koldys) Thompson

GARDNER - Carol A. (Koldys) Thompson, 77 of 116 Church St., Gardner, died Friday, February 20, 2015 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester. She was born in Baldwinville, on December 18, 1937, the daughter of the late Wiliam and the late Loretta (Cassie) Koldys. She enjoyed socializing with all her friends at the “High Rise”, chatting with her best friend Annette for hours,  going for ice coffee with her friend Bob and Thursday night church suppers. She leaves two daughters: Dee Anne Law of Jacksonville, FL, Marie E Channell of Orange City, FL and two sons: William Peal and his wife Deb of Phillipston, MA, Marcel D Varney of Orange City, FL; her brother Ronald Koldys; four grandchildren:  Damien Law, Shane Law, Eric Channell, Justin Channell; five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Bonnie Bezio on April 21, 2008. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA  01440.  Burial will be private.
