Carol C Legere

LEOMINSTER------Carol C. (Dawes) Legere, 81 of Leominster died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday morning Oct 2, 2011. She was born December 3, 1929 in Grafton MA the daughter of the late Wallace Dawes and Marion (Storey) Dawes and came to Leominster many years ago. She leaves her daughter Cecile Legere and her son Donald Legere both of Leominster. her two grandchildren Michael Quiles and Amanda Bourque,and her five great grandchildren, Elijah, Michael, Ayden, Maliq and Mikayla, her brother Melvin Dawes of Florida and her two sisters Lillian Bradley of Florida and Marion Peters of Worcester MA, and several nephews nieces and cousins. Her husband of (47) Years Richard H. Legere predeceased her in 2004 and 2 brothers and a sister also predeceased her. Carol was a communicant of St Leos Church in Leominster and worked at area plastic shops. She also worked fro the ARC Community Services in Fitchburg for 15 years and was a member of TOPS for many years. The funeral will be held on Wednesday October 5, 2011 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with a 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St Leos Church 128 Main St Leominster. Burial will follow in St Bernard's Cemetery Fitchburg. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday evening October 4, 2011 are from 5pm-8pm.
