Catherine A. Bagdonas

ATHOL - Catherine A. Bagdonas, 62 of 1720 Petersham Rd., Athol, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at home. She was born in Worcester on August 17, 1947, the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late Blanche (Staraitis) Bagdonas. Ms. Bagdonas was a lifelong resident of Athol and graduated from Athol High School with the class of 1965. She worked at the Athol Savings Bank and other area banks. She was a communicant of the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Athol and a member of the Cornerstone Quilters. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, yard work, humming birds, and especially enjoyed spending time with her dog, Greta. She leaves one sister, Patricia A. Puccetti; two nephews, Joseph P. Puccetti, Mark L. Puccetti; three grand nieces and nephews, Emileigh Puccetti, Hayden Puccetti, Hayleigh Puccetti, all of West Boylston, and many close friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol. Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
