LEOMINSTER - Catherine Ann (Guichard) Panagiotes, 52, of 16 Sunrise Avenue, Leominster, died on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Highlands in Fitchburg.
Cathy was born in West Covina, California on January 22, 1958. She was raised and educated in Shirley and Ayer and graduated from Ayer High School in 1976. Cathy battled breast cancer for five years and participated in and attended many local Sisters Remembered activities and benefits. She was a member of the Leominster Assembly of God and enjoyed going to the Relay for Life walk. She worked at Mr. Tom's Pizza in Ayer for many years. Cathy was a creative and artistic woman, a very talented seamstress, and enjoyed designing floral arrangements. Cathy loved to dance at her sister-in-law's studio, Michelle Goodwin's School of Dance and practiced in ballet, tap and jazz routines. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting the Curtis Family Campground in New Hampshire.
She leaves her husband of twenty-six years, Paul T. Panagiotes; one son, Paul T. Panagiotes, Jr.; two daughters, Tiara A. Panagiotes and her companion Andrew Brosseau, Riana E. Panagiotes all of Leominster; her mother, Elaine Kelley of Fitchburg; her father, Robert Guichard and his wife Gene of Fitchburg; two brothers, Clinton Harris and his wife Kendall of Illinois, Robert Guichard of Fitchburg; three sisters, Christine "Tina" Daynard and her husband Rick of Haverhill, Julie Harris-Garza of Fitchburg, Jan Vazquez and her husband Pasqual of New Jersey; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her three beloved dogs, Mrs. Beasley, Madeline and Gizmo.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leominster Assembly of God Church, 834 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will be private.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be sent to their home to assist with final expenses.
