East Templeton – Cathy Ann Robuccio, 62 of 173 South Main St. E., Templeton died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 2, 1951 in Athol the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Blanchard) Calvi. She grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School with the class of 1969.
Cathy graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She was a teacher in Athol for 35 years teaching third and fourth grade at Silver Lake School and she retired in 2009 from Sanders Street School.
She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and trips with her family to Disney World.
She leaves her husband of 38 years Kenneth Robuccio, one daughter Sara Robuccio of Peabody, three brothers Joseph Calvi Jr. of Petersham, Andrew Calvi, Michael Calvi both of Orange; three sisters, Joan McBride of Southwick, Myra Modzeleski of Athol, Norma Calvi of Orange; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Immaculate Church 192 School St. Athol. Burial in Silver Lake Cemetery will be private at a later date.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack funeral home 110 New Athol Road, Orange.
In lieu of flowers and based on her dedication to the education of Athol students, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Athol High School Scholarship Association, PO Box 338, Athol, MA 01331.
