Cathy E. (Lewis) Lewis

Cathy C. Lewis Athol – Cathy C. Lewis, 53, of 121 Marble Street, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at her home after suddenly being stricken ill.      Cathy was born in Athol, October 25, 1958, the daughter of Ralph and June (Oliver) Lewis.  She grew up in Orange and Wendell where she also attended schools and has lived in many different parts of the U.S. but most of her life has been in Massachusetts.        She enjoyed collecting many different types of glass ware and loved all types of plants, having a real green thumb.        Cathy leaves her companion, Michael Morin of Athol; two daughters, Amanda Sheffield of Royalston, MA and Kendra Dean of New York City; brothers and sisters, Penny Delorey of Wendell, MA, Bonnie Harmon of Radford, VA, Dawn Patnode of Erving, MA, Melody Pritchard of Seneca, SC, Richard Lewis of Christiansburg, VA, and Skip Lewis of Braselton, VA and many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by a brother, Robert.      At Cathy’s request no funeral services are planned.  Those wishing to make a contribution is Cathy’s memory the family suggests they may be sent to the Athol Animal Shelter (for the care of animals), c/o the Athol Police Department, 280 Exchange Street, Athol, MA  01331.   Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol is directing arrangements.   For further information or to share a memory with the family go to:  www.higginsoconnorfuneralhome.com.      $(document).ready(function(){ });
